Ms.
Susan Corona has more than 20 years of industrial research
experience involving mechanism-based drug design, development
of therapeutic agents for human disease, construction of molecular
markers from human lung cancer, discovery of therapeutic drugs
derived from fungi for human cancer and development of specialized
systems for cytokine expression. She joined BTI in 2004 where
she is involved in high-throughput screening and identification
of insect genes and proteins for use in pesticide target validation.
She also manages day-to-day laboratory operations for the Company.

| Dr.
Natalya Griko has more than 16 years of experience in
biophysical chemistry and proteomics. Specifically, she has experience
and expertise in mouse hybridoma technology, purification of immunoglobulins,
purification of mouse mAbs by a variety of techniques, preparation
of labeled antibodies and a variety of immunochemical techniques.
Dr. Griko joined BTI in 2004 where she was involved in the discovery
and validation of pesticide and drug targets and in the development
of engineered Bt toxins through target-based product discovery.
Her principal responsibilities involve genomic and proteomic approaches
used to identify both gene and protein targets from insects. She
also provides support to the screening of customized gene libraries
to select the most promising candidate targets for validation.
Dr. Griko received
her PhD in Biology from the Institute of Molecular Biology of
AS USSR, Kiev , Ukraine . She was a Senior Scientist and Lecturer
at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry at Pushchino State University
, Russian Academy of Sciences. She also served as a Senior Scientist
in the Center for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, The University
of Texas at Dallas.

Dr.
Mohamed Ibrahim has more than twelve years of experience
in the molecular biology and biochemistry of Bacillus thuringiensis
and has participated in the development of various Bt strains
for commercial use in Egypt. Dr. Ibrahim currently is working
with Bt subsp. aegypti, the Bt strain that constitutes PestoBAC
™. He is cloning all of the different pesticidal toxin genes
from this strain with the goal in mind to have sequence analysis
on all proteins within the near future. Dr. Ibrahim also is
assisting in the genomic and proteomic analyses of a number
of molecular targets identified in the mosquitoes Culex
pipiens, Aedes aegypti and Anopheles gambiae.
Dr.
Ibrahim received his PhD in Molecular Biology under the direction
of Dr. Bulla at The University of Wyoming and spent four years
as a research scientist at the Agricultural Genetic Engineering
Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Giza
, Egypt , where he directed research on Bt-related activities,
among other agricultural projects.

Dr.
Jian Sun has more than ten years experience in software
engineering, computational modeling and simulation, database implementation,
genetic algorithms and artificial intelligence, and recent three
years in bioinformatics, biostatistics and computational and systems
biology. She joined BTI in 2004 to head up its bioinformatics
program. Her principal responsibilities include the design and
development of a laboratory management system for the high throughput
gene and protein target identification, target-proteins database
development and management, creation and maintenance of an online
knowledge-base system and company-wide administration of the computer
network.
Dr.
Sun received her PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computational
Design in 2001 from Hong Kong Polytechnic University . She was
a post-doctoral research fellow at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation,
Cleveland, Ohio, from 2002-2004.

| Dr.
Xuebin Zhang received a PhD (2005) in Molecular Biology
under the supervision of Dr. Lee Bulla at The University of Texas
at Dallas. His dissertation research involved the elucidation
of the molecular mode of insecticidal action of the Cry1Ab toxin
produced by Bacillus thuringiensis. Specifically he examined the
specific interaction of toxin with its cadherin receptor in cultured
insect cells. Dr. Zhang’s responsibilities at BTI include gene
library construction and library screening and expression. He
also will support validation of candidate molecular targets for
insecticides and drugs through a cell-based system.
Dr.
Zhang received a BS in Biotechnology from Sichuan University in
1998, The People’s Republic of China and an MS in Molecular Biology
at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002.
