ACHIEVEMENTS
1999
Biological Targets, Inc. was formed as a Delaware corporation.
The Company began its R&D activities in temporary laboratories
located at the campus of The University of Texas at Dallas.
2000
Biological Targets, Inc. developed its diverse intellectual
property portfolio that is The Company’s primary differentiator.
The Company filed its first patent applications to protect its
product development and technology platforms.
2001-2003
Biological
Targets, Inc. finalized its strategic business plan and expanded
its financial base by obtaining first-round private funding. The
Company developed its technology application platforms, SPADE™
and DELVE™, for integrating bioinformatics, functional genomics
and high-throughput gene screening.
2004
Biological
Targets, Inc. moved into its new facilities, 7,000 square feet
of modern laboratory and office space located in the Bio-Labs
Building situated in the center of Dallas’ biotechnology community.
2005
Biological
Targets, Inc. established its R&D programs with primary emphasis
on four main areas:
• Molecular targets for insecticide development
• Bt-based biopesticides
• Products for soil improvement
• Anti-microbials for disease control
2006
Biological
Targets, Inc. developed InsectaCLONE™
gene libraries and expression arrays for target identification
and insecticide chemistry screening using its discovery platform
dSCOVA™. The Company introduced MosquitOME™ Expression Panel for
target-directed screening of insecticidal compound in cell-base
assays.
Biological
Targets, Inc. also introduced RECLAFIL™,
100% organic product for soil improvement and erosion control
applications. The Company premiered RECLAFIL™ at the International
Erosion Control Association's Trade Show and Annual Meeting in
Long Beach (CA) February 20-24, 2006.
